| Florida Villas Terms and Conditions - Provisional Booking. A provisional booking date may be held by telephone or e-mail and will be held for four days pending receipt of a completed booking form and full deposit or payment as appropriate. Only the persons named on the booking form are allowed to stay in the home. Florida State Law prohibits subletting, sharing or assigning. Any persons not shown on the booking form will be asked to leave. All guests must register at the Management Company Office within 24 hours of their arrival.
- Deposit and Security Deposit. A deposit of £100 or $150 per week is required with the completed booking form. Confirmation of the booking will normally be made within seven days of receipt of the deposit. Once the booking is confirmed, the deposit will be non-refundable but will be deducted from the full rental amount due. A refundable security deposit will be charged by the management company on arrival at Orlando, of $250 or £150, to cover any breakages or damage whilst staying in the holiday home. Credit card, cash or endorsed travellers cheques can pay this. Where the deposit is paid by cash or travellers' cheques, such a deposit (less deductions, if any) shall be refunded to the guest by way of a Dollar cheque drawn on a US bank account and mailed to the address on the registration form within 14 days of the date of departure of the guests.
- Balance. At the time of confirmation, an account will be issued showing the amount of balance due. This is payable eight weeks prior to the date of departure. Bookings made within eight weeks of departure are payable in full at the time of booking. Full details and key collection will be sent to you after full payment has been received.
- Owners Rights. The owners reserve the right to cancel the booking if payment is not received by the due date.
- Cancellation Charges The client may cancel the booking at any time after it has been confirmed. Cancellation must be made in writing. The following cancellation charges will apply : -
More than eight weeks before departure : - Deposit forfeited
Between four and eight weeks before departure : - 50 % of the total costs forfeited
Less than 28 days before departure : - 100 % of the total costs forfeited.
- Amendments. Alteration to confirmed bookings can be made at owner's discretion and the client's request. An administration fee of £10 or $15 will be charged. Changes need to be notified in writing together with the relevant fee prior to departure.
- Arrival and Departure. The rental commences at 4.00 p.m. on the day of your arrival and ceases at 11.00 a.m. on the day of your departure. If a later check out time is required this can be provided only by prior approval of the Management Company. A request for a late check out can be considered only after the guests have registered upon arrival at the Management office. Guests vacating the property after 11.00 a.m. on the day of departure, with a pre approved late check out will be charged a fee of $50. Those guests who have not received approval from the Management Company will be charged one night's accommodation fee. The property will be cleaned before your arrival and again on your departure. A separate cleaning charge is made only where the rental period is less than 6 consecutive nights (where permitted). All rentals are inclusive of electricity, water and local taxes. A telephone is available for your use in the home, with local calls being free of charge, but you will need a pre-paid phone or credit card for long distance or international calls.
- Force Majeure. The owner's agent cannot accept, be responsible for or be liable in respect of loss, damage or changes caused by force majeure (e.g. strikes, floods, closure or airports, weather conditions or other events beyond our control). In the unlikely event of a complaint during your stay, please contact the Management Company.
- Liability. The owners or owner's agent do not accept any liability whatsoever for death, personal injury, accidents, loss or damage to person or personal effects however caused. Please bear this in mind that your home is situated on a development, which consists of both residential, and holiday homes. Therefore, the owner or owner's agent cannot be held responsible for any ongoing construction, alterations to existing houses or any noise as result thereof on or around the housing development.
- Pool Heating and Jacuzzi. If the pool heating and Jacuzzi are required, this must be requested at the time of booking. This is an additional charge and must be paid for within the final balance. Where the pool heating is requested less than 7 days prior to arrival, a service charge of £10 or $15 shall be made. In the event that where the pool heating is requested and paid for, the owners cannot guarantee the temperature of the pool, as this will vary according to different factors, the main one being prevailing weather conditions.
- Inventory Items. No inventory items must be removed from the house. This includes linens and towels. Any breakages or damage must be reported to the Management Company immediately.
- Insurance. Clients are recommended to take out adequate holiday insurance to cover eventualities such as cancellation, accident, sickness and damage.
- No Smoking Policy. Please note that the owners do not allow smoking within the house or pool area.
- Cots and Highchairs. These can be supplied. Please apply at the time of the booking.
